ELISMITHART

I mostly work in oil paint depicting figural work. Being fascinated by the human figure, I try to depict various emotions through posture, gesture and movement.

 

Much of my the work I make is monolithic and epic in form and style, adhering to bold imagery. I want the viewer to be unable to ignore my work, I want it to grab them and not let them go until they have noticed it, even if they cannot fully appreciate it.
